തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആക്രമണകാരികളും പേപിടിച്ചതുമായ തെരുവുനായ്ക്കളെ കൊന്നൊടുക്കുന്നതിനായി സുപ്രീംകോടതിയുടെ അനുമതി തേടുമെന്ന് തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ മന്ത്രി എംബി രാജേഷ്. മന്ത്രി വിളിച്ച വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളുടെ യോഗത്തിലാണ് ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ധാരണയായത്.
തെരുവുനായ ശല്യം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന് ഊര്ജിത വാക്സിനേഷന് ഡ്രൈവ് നടത്താനും തീരുമാനമായി. ഈ മാസം 20 മുതല് ഒക്ടോബര് 20 വരെയാകും വാക്സിനേഷന് ഡ്രൈവ് നടത്തുക. ഇതിനായി പ്രത്യേക വണ്ടികള് വാടകയ്ക്ക് എടുക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
നായ്ക്കളെ കൊല്ലുന്നതിന് നിയമ തടസമുള്ള സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് സുപ്രീംകോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കുന്നത്.കുടുംബശ്രീയില് നിന്നും കൊവിഡ് കാല വോളന്റിയര്മാരില് നിന്നും സന്നദ്ധത അറിയിക്കുന്നവരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് പരിശീലനം നല്കി വാക്സിനേഷന് ഡ്രൈവിനായി നിയോഗിക്കും. ഈ മാസം തന്നെ പരിശീലനം പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കും.
